CareMeet Terms of Service

Last updated: July 19, 2026

These terms govern use of CareMeet, an eldercare coordination platform for families, caregivers, facilities, and service partners. By using CareMeet, users agree to use the service responsibly and provide accurate information.

Care Coordination Platform

CareMeet supports care search, matching, account dashboards, caregiver and facility profiles, verification workflows, provider introductions, remote service planning, and care coordination tools. CareMeet is not a medical provider, emergency service, insurance broker, or substitute for professional medical, legal, financial, or clinical advice.

User Responsibilities

Provider and Facility Information

Caregiver, facility, and provider profiles may include submitted details, verification status, availability, care levels, pricing guidance, Trust Score signals, and uploaded documentation status. Families should independently confirm final pricing, licensing, availability, care fit, and service terms before booking care.

Integrations

CareMeet may offer optional integrations such as Google Calendar to support scheduling and care reminders. Users control whether they connect or disconnect supported integrations. Integration availability may change as vendors update their APIs, policies, or approval requirements.

Text Message Terms

CareMeet may offer optional text messages for account verification, security codes, and transactional account notices after a user provides a phone number and chooses to receive messages. Message frequency varies based on account activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages and HELP for help where supported by the messaging provider. Text messages must not be used for emergencies, clinical decisions, or urgent care instructions.

Privacy and Security

CareMeet handles information according to the CareMeet Privacy Policy. Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials and notifying CareMeet if they suspect unauthorized access.

Availability

CareMeet aims to provide reliable service, but the platform may be interrupted for maintenance, vendor outages, security updates, or events outside CareMeet's control.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareMeet is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Care decisions, provider selection, and emergency response remain the responsibility of users and qualified professionals.
